Usually when I fly in the winter, the cloud cover hides everything between Detroit and my destination....this year it was pretty clear for the better part of the trip back. The snow in the mountains really defines the ridges and valleys...hmmmm...maybe I really went on a rocket and this is a moonscape....
I have never seen the smokies in real life, but they look amazing. Thanks for sharing.
