Finally around to removing IE8 from my pc. Went back to IE7. I gave 8 an honest try, but I simply found it have to love Add/Remove.

You'll Never Guess...

What I did today...yup...that is right. I attended a baby shower. Ann Marie is expecting her first child in the next few weeks. How can that be? It was just yesterday her mom called me to tell me Ann had arrived.

My Little Piece of Green

My patio garden. The summer weather hit us in spades yesterday, I keep it back from the the edge to cut back on the direct sunlight... Not sure the basil will make it til the first tomato, so maybe I should plant the backup basil, huh?

This is one of those multi-dimensional dealies that you really have to see up close and personal. Still trying to decide what I see in it...other than yellow, not particularly mellow. Sorry, didn't get the price on this one ;)

Slow Down

Fridays during the summer traffic tends to be lighter and I occasionally will take the freeways to work...was the wrong decision this past Friday...Ford Rd. to M-14 this was the speed.

Around the Town

I know..I has been a while, hasn't it? Was up at the pet store over the weekend...the township has another contest going on the sculptures. I found this one more interesting than most of the last batch...and it could be yours for $7,500 after the contest ends. Looks like lamps to me...the "lampshade" part appears to be concrete...

It really wasn't all that long ago that this little 'burb was a farming community...remnants of it still remain where you least expect them. This little barn is surrounded by subdivisions, the 7/11 and the ubiquitous orange barrels...

Like a Good Neighbor...

How can you not smile when this greets you as you arrive home after a lousy day at work...?
